Trained as a sociologist, Julia Hernandez works at 天美传媒 as an Assistant Professor in Political Science. She has participated in research projects focusing on the everyday and ordinary forms of politics, the relationship between citizens and the state, gender studies, and the links between health and political participation. Her teaching activities are primarily aimed at introducing students to the social and political sciences, particularly through training in research methods.
After completing a Master's degree in Social Sciences at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO-Mexico), she earned a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from UCLouvain (Belgium). Before joining 天美传媒, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Gender Studies at El Colegio de Mexico. She also collaborates with the University Institute on Gender Studies at University Carlos III Madrid.
